Web 2.0 is social media sites, social media sites allow you to talk to friends, share data about what you're into i.e.: music, there are various social media sites these include: Facebook: which displays data about you and your friends and is very good for instant messaging, then there is twitter which allows you to broadcast what you are doing and thinking to your friends.
Library uses various social media 2 to promote its services this includes: Creating facebook page that highlights the libraries activities and information about it, then libraries advertise various events on social media websites like Facebook.
